Industrial clerk (m/f/d)
As an industrial clerk, we will train you step by step in all commercial areas at NICI. In product management, you will work on new products, and in purchasing, you will learn how our products get to the right place at the right time. Our sales and customer service teams will explain how sales work, and you can collaborate on important projects in our marketing department. Together, we will develop a plan that will guide you through the most important departments. Who knows, maybe you would also like to work on our website?

IT specialist specializing in system integration (m/f/d)
If you enjoy working with computers, networks and programs, then you've come to the right place. We will show you how our hardware and software systems work, familiarize you with our networks and train you in how to use our programs. From mainframe systems to networks to how to use PC and Apple computers, you can learn everything you need from us to become a real expert in our NICI IT team, step by step.

Our main warehouse for Germany and Europe is located in Altenkunstadt. From capacity planning and goods receipt from Asia to warehouse handling, shipping preparation, and transport, you will learn about all areas of warehouse logistics with us. We will train you step by step and make you an expert in warehouse logistics in the NICI team.

Starting your career is like embarking on a great adventure. Have I chosen the right profession? Should I have done something else? Is NICI the right company for me? All of us at NICI have been in this situation ourselves or have children of this age. If you are interested in NICI but are unsure, simply get in touch with us and we can discuss it. If you are interested, you are welcome to come and do a trial internship with us.

You have already learned a profession and would like to complete additional training. No problem: just send us your documents and we will talk about it.
NICI pays above-average training allowances. We would be happy to explain the details to you in a personal meeting.
NICI works on a rotating 4/5-day week, which means that every other Friday, NICI is closed and employees have a long weekend. The average working week is 37 hours. There are flexible start and end times, the option to flexibly compensate for fewer hours or overtime, and all employees and trainees have 30 days of annual leave.
If you don't know how it all works, don't worry – we'll take care of it. We are in regular contact with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and local vocational schools and take care of clarifying any official and school-related issues. The location of the vocational school depends on the occupation being trained for. Commercial trainees, for example, usually attend the vocational school in Lichtenfels. Would you like to attend a different vocational school due to where you live? We will help you apply to change vocational schools.
At NICI, many people are involved in training our apprentices. Our department heads and administrators have many years of professional experience in their fields and most of them have been with NICI for a long time. This gives you the opportunity to benefit from a wealth of experience and expertise, provided you follow one rule: “Ask questions, ask questions, ask questions” and, of course, “learn from the answers.”
Our trainees meet once a week for a joint learning or project session. Ralph, our training manager, is also available during this time if needed.
We support your learning success by giving you time for it. You can plan this yourself or in consultation with Ralph, the training manager. Do you have topics or tasks from vocational school that you find difficult? We have an experienced colleague in the team who can help you with any problem. Do you need support in preparing for exams? We will help you and cover the costs of external preparation courses and training materials.
With us, you are not “employee number 123,” but are seen and respected as an individual, with all the strengths and weaknesses that we all have. At NICI, there is a family-like working atmosphere, and everyone is on a first-name basis—even the bosses. And if there is ever an issue you need help with, you can talk to your trainee mentor or Ralph, the training manager.
Of course, underage trainees are very welcome here. We understand that young people do not yet have their own car to make their daily commute to NICI in Altenkunstadt, and we can adapt to this. We are also very familiar with the Youth Employment Protection Act and ensure that it is complied with.
