The market leader is looking for you as:

IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

In this role, you will be responsible for the reliable support and further development of our IT infrastructure. You will provide support in the administration of systems and networks, ensure stable IT operations and implement operational IT tasks in an efficient and structured manner.

What we want from you:

  • Completed training in the IT sector or comparable qualification - career starters are also welcome!
  • Sound knowledge of current server and client operating systems
  • Know-how in the areas of virtualisation, storage networks, backup and recovery systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft AD, Exchange, terminal server environments and network administration
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (desirable, but not a must)
  • Initial experience in IT projects is an advantage
  • Analytical thinking, a structured way of working and good written and spoken English skills

Your area of responsibility:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure
  • Administration of Windows and Linux servers, network components and central applications and services
  • Support and further development of the infrastructure
  • Processing incidents and service requests
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of the network infrastructure
  • Coordination of the procurement and commissioning of hardware and software
  • Collaboration with external IT service providers and consultants on exciting IT projects

Working student (m/f/d) or intern (m/f/d) Design/character design

Do you love illustration and character design and want to gain practical experience in the world of plush toys and gift items? Then support our design and product management team as a working student in the development of new NICI characters and exciting product ideas.

What you should bring with you:

  • Studies in illustration, graphic design, product design, media design or a comparable subject
  • Enjoyment of character design, drawing and developing small visual ideas
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Reliable, meticulous approach to work and enjoyment of teamwork
  • Good knowledge of German
  • Availability to work on-site at NICI

Your responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the visualisation of product ideas and designs
  • Collaborating on presentations for product management – e.g. for sales documents or internal coordination 
  • Supporting the preparation and documentation of design and concept meetings
  • Small tasks in the area of packaging & environment illustration (e.g. backgrounds, icons, layouts) and POS design.
  • General support for the design team in day-to-day business

Become an apprentice at one of the world's most popular plush toy and gift brands. We offer training in:

Industrial clerk (m/f/d)

As an industrial clerk, we will train you step by step in all commercial areas at NICI. In product management, you will work on new products, and in purchasing, you will learn how our products get to the right place at the right time. Our sales and customer service teams will explain how sales work, and you can collaborate on important projects in our marketing department. Together, we will develop a plan that will guide you through the most important departments. Who knows, maybe you would also like to work on our website?

We will show you how our hardware and software systems work, familiarize you with our networks and train you in how to use our programs. From mainframe systems to networks to how to use PC and Apple computers, you can learn everything you need from us to become a real expert in our NICI IT team, step by step.

Our main warehouse for Germany and Europe is located in Altenkunstadt. From capacity planning and goods receipt from Asia to warehouse handling, shipping preparation, and transport, you will learn about all areas of warehouse logistics with us. We will train you step by step and make you an expert in warehouse logistics in the NICI team.

In Product Development, you will be responsible for conceiving and designing new products that make our brand unique. You will analyse market trends, develop innovative ideas and work closely with other departments to create products that are both functional and appealing. Your creativity and technical understanding will be called upon to develop products that meet the needs of our customers and expand our product range.

Product design

In product design, you bring creative ideas to life. You create appealing designs that are both aesthetic and practical. Marketing
