It smelled like adventure
In the GLUBSCHIS universe, this day began particularly quietly. The sun crept cautiously over the soft hills, and a fine glittering dust settled on the plush meadows. Selma the Siamese cat lay curled up in her favorite spot, breathing calmly. She knew that when the morning begins gently, the day will also be good. Not far from her, Monni-Wonni hopped through the tall grass. The little rabbit just couldn't sit still. There was something to laugh about everywhere, and his ears twitched at every new sound.
A cheerful fluttering sounded from the trees. Bird Sunita was on her way. High above, she landed with a few other birds on the branches of the big cuddly tree. From there, they had the best view of the meadow. “Look!” chirped the little sunshine, “today we're going to play!” Down below, Basketball Rob was already rolling across the ground, closely followed by Tennis Ball Dennis, who was almost bouncing with energy. Soon, a few friends gathered around them, laughing, poking the balls back and forth, and cheering each other on. Rob felt especially comfortable because playing on a team was right up his alley, and Dennis loved being in the middle of the action.
Meanwhile, a completely different kind of game had developed at the edge of the meadow. Yeti Yürgen crept around behind glittering rocks and fluffy bushes. “You found me,” he whispered every time someone came too close. Playing with him were the two little bears Bonno, who was surprisingly good at hiding despite his size, and Tummunu, who remained completely calm even when playing hide-and-seek. Even when someone laughed loudly or stumbled, Tummunu remained calm. That made the game somehow cozy.
On the main meadow, Highland cow Shug watched the ball game with wide eyes. Everything was so exciting! Suddenly, he felt a warm presence. His mother stood behind him and protectively laid her head on him. “I'll stick with my friends through thick and thin,” she said quietly. Little Shug snuggled up to her and knew that no matter how wild the game got, this was his safe place.
Nearby, Jummi the frog jumped over small hills and challenged anyone who felt like it. “No one can beat me at high jump!” he shouted with a laugh. Some tried to keep up, others clapped enthusiastically. Snilli the snail sat on a sunny rock and watched. “Take your time,” she said kindly when someone got out of breath. And indeed, no one was in a hurry. The universe felt calm and alive at the same time.
Suddenly, it got a little warmer. A shadow passed over the meadow, and Parko the dragon landed elegantly between the friends. His scales glistened, and a broad smile spread across his face. “I'm hungry,” he said cheerfully. “Preferably something with grilled avocado.” The others' eyes lit up. An idea was literally in the air. While some gathered wood, Sunita and the other birds fluttered down from the tree and sat down curiously. Stork Sir Sorto came down from the air, landed safely, and looked around. “No fear of flying,” he said proudly.
Soon a small fire was crackling, completely safe of course, because in the GLUBSCHIS universe, someone is always watching out. Parko was finally able to enjoy his beloved grilled avocado while everyone else sat together. Nomelia had curled up close to Selma. The two cats purred contentedly – simply two souls who loved peace and quiet. Flommi-Fun jumped up and down and told jokes until everyone had to laugh.
As the sun slowly sank lower, everyone sat together, full, tired, and happy. The birds chirped softly from the tree, Yeti Yürgen came out of his hiding place, and Bonno gave everyone one last big hug. At that moment, everyone knew: the GLUBSCHIS universe was not just a place full of glitter and games, but a home. A place where friendship warms, solidarity sustains, and everyone can be exactly who they are.
All new GLUBSCHIS friends will be available from January 2026🩷
