Boo-hoo

Even though the calendar still says July, now is exactly the right time for a first peek at the next spooky season. Because Halloween never comes out of nowhere, the mood builds up long before. And that’s exactly the feeling the new mymochi minis Series #5 Cosy Creepers bring right now: a little preview of dark streets, glowing pumpkins, and that special night when everything looks a little stranger than usual🎃👻🐈‍⬛

It’s late, the street is dark, warm light flickers behind windows somewhere, and pumpkins stand in front of almost every front door; leaves are scattered across the sidewalk, and everything seems a little stranger than usual. The new mymochi minis Series #5 Cosy Creepers! Edition feels right at home on a Halloween night just like this. The 12 designs don’t look like just any seasonal decoration, but like little characters that appear in the middle of the night and immediately catch your eye with their colors, shapes, and details.

You’ve barely taken a few steps when something flits right past your face. It’s Fledda the Bat, of course. With her outstretched, bright-orange wings and dark-blue look, she instantly brings the scene to life. Cute, funny, and spooky pumpkins glow in front of the front doors, and right in the middle, Pumpkin Bear Nomo fits perfectly into the picture. His pumpkin design directly references the Halloween classic yet still stands out. Suddenly, a ghost drifts across the sky above the houses. Bright, clear, and especially eye-catching thanks to the glow-in-the-dark effect, Cat Angy steals the show. In the front yard on the corner, Piboo the Rabbit is up to no good as a skeleton, while Spoop the Mummy tries to untangle her linen bandages caught in the garden fence. Perched on a branch above, Hoo the Owl watches the whole scene with her calm, slightly mysterious gaze and breaks the silence of the night with her characteristic hoots. Suddenly, there’s a rustling in the bushes.

There sits the red panda Akai, and it is precisely his color that makes him so striking in this scene. Amid the darkness, shadows, and muted tones, his reddish-brown coat immediately stands out. Above him, the spider Ashi swings down out of nowhere. A brief moment of fright, perfect for this night. From the nearby pasture, you can hear Hoppi the pony neighing. Less obvious spookiness, but a design that lightens up the series and gives the collection its own dynamic. At first, only a dark shadow is visible on a porch. Then green eyes suddenly light up. Darky the cat. Black, mysterious, and with a glow-in-the-dark effect - exactly the character that no Halloween night should be without. The fact that a mouse scurries across the scene at that very moment only makes it better. With her red eyes and snow-white fur, Wibbli the mouse immediately adds a little creepy twist. And somewhere behind a house, where the garden is already almost merging into the darkness of the forest, there’s a rustling sound again. Tuff the wild boar. Earthy colors, an autumnal look, and a cute snout that fits perfectly into this mix of fall and spookiness.

This collection doesn’t feel like a simple lineup of individual products, but rather like a little Halloween world with its own character. It captures that special feeling of the upcoming season early on, without having to wait until October. With a loop and elastic band, the Cosy Creepers can be attached to bags, hoodies, sneakers, or hair accessories, adding small Halloween details that immediately catch the eye. At the same time, they work just as well as decorations or as a small gift at a Halloween party. Maybe they can even be perfectly integrated into a Halloween costume. They’re small, but their designs have enough presence to make an impression and will be available from August 2026🖤
